What experiences
are you designing into existence through play, through emergence,
through wonder?

Experience Design has lived within my creative ecosystem as a way of designing moments that engage our entire being—our body, mind, spirit—while embodying a care praxis. It’s meaningful, it’s memorable, and it’s a reflection of what matters most to us.

When designing experiences, I’m deliberately engaging with possibility and exploring unknown landscapes, in and with community.

During the often wild and unpredictable process, experience design blends my rigor and love for worldmaking in ways that deepen kinship and show us what’s possible when we reconnect with aliveness, with imagination, with life.

FEATURED EXPERIMENT

BIPOC COMMUNITY-CRAFTED COCKTAIL RITUALS

CREATOR + EXPERIENCE DESIGNER

liberatory
libations

Liberatory Libations existed as an experiment in designing community-crafted, booze-free cocktail rituals inspired by the felt sensations of liberation among BIPOC creative activists. Seeded during Listen Bar’s 2020 Night Shift program as many communities were shifting their relationship to alcohol, this virtual experience asked:

What if BIPOC creative activists who are “sober curious” could experience a nightlife that liberated our spirits?

What if our love for collective healing and rituals could co-exist with our love for joyful nightlife and cocktails?

VISUAL POETRY

EXPERIENCE DESIGNER

poetic
portraits

Poetic Portraits is an intuitive writing and visual poetry project that explores the unexpected combinations of communal creation, felt sensations, fragmented poetry, collage, and digital technology.

Emerging out of the course “Mind-Body-Draw” taken during graduate school in 2016, fellow artists, designers, friends, seasonal lovers, and family were invited to engage with a generative experience. Together, we transformed selected words from my personal poems into short, potent narratives and visual records that illuminated our interior worlds.
